Variations – Grain Shading
2011-01-27I’ve got some programs (or “sketches”) I made using Processing, and when I put my images through these programs there’s some random variation and they come out a little different each time. I can pick the best one and do a little adjusting by hand if needed. That’s how I’ve been making some of the images I’ve been putting up here. In this example, the same half moon shape is a little different in each of the nine versions. It’s a bit like the variation you might get with some of the messier printmaking processes.
